More than 600 students received bachelor degrees from St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies held on May 21 in Canton, New York.

The following students participated in the University of New Hampshire Commencement Ceremony held Saturday, May 20, 2017, in Durham, N.H. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar's Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. Participating in the commencement ceremony is the act of honoring and celebrating academic achievement.

The following St. Lawrence University students have been inducted into the St. Lawrence University chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honorary society for religious studies and theology.

Nazareth students named to the Spring 2017 Dean's List.

Nazareth College graduate students earned their master's or doctoral degrees at the 90th Annual Commencement ceremony that took place at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY, on May 14, 2017.

In the 2016-17 academic year, 235 John Carroll University student athletes achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

Nearly 140 SUNY Oneonta students presented original research and creative projects at the college's 2017 Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 12.

The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize more than 1,000 candidates for graduation during the College's 2017 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 20. The SUNY Potsdam Class of 2017 will be awarded baccalaureate and master's degrees at the ceremony.

Now in its 27th year, the symposium has grown from its debut in April 1991, when 130 students presented, to one that now features nearly 500 students.

The following St. Lawrence University students were inducted into Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the national honor society for earth sciences.

Buffalo State is proud to recognize the undergraduate students who have completed at least 45 credit hours (30 credit hours for transfer students) at Buffalo State and achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

A total of 14 new members were inducted into the SUNY Oneonta Alpha-Kappa-Iota chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, during a ceremony on April 7.

Over 150 Ithaca College students were named to the Empire 8 President's List. In order to be considered for the President's List, a student-athlete must earn a 3.75 grade point average or higher while participating in a conference-sponsored sport.

SUNY Oneonta recognized 35 student athletes by inducting them into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, during a luncheon held on April 6. To qualify for induction a student athlete must have achieved at least junior standing with a cumulative 3.4 grade point average while earning a varsity letter in an NCAA intercollegiate sport. Each student athlete must also be of good moral character and have the endorsement of his/her coach and the Chapter President.

Siena has swept the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's first weekly golf awards of the spring season. Freshman Jake Holt has been named the MAAC Men's Golfer of the Week, and senior Kristen Bromley has been tabbed the MAAC Women's Golfer of the Week.

Siena Field Hockey was named to the Zag Field Hockey/National FIeld Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Academic Team. The Saints had seven named to the Academic Squad, and one Scholar of Distinction.

Students graduated from Clarkson University on December 31, 2016.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least 3 courses for a conventional letter grade earn the fall Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2016 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
